Google Signs Deal With Digital Asset Platform, Pushing Crypto Payment Deeper Into Main Global Market
On October 8, Bakkt, a trustworthy digital asset marketplace that enables users to purchase, trade, send, and spend digital assets, announced a collaboration with computing giant Google.
As a result of the collaboration, Bakkt will be able to broaden the reach and usefulness of digital assets in order to satisfy constantly changing customer demand and preferences.
The user’s virtual “Bakkt Card” may be linked to Google Pay and used to purchase everyday goods and services online, in-store, or wherever Google Pay is accepted.
Interestingly, digital assets such as Bitcoin may also be converted to fiat money in order for these payments to be executed.
Furthermore, Bakkt has selected Google Cloud as its preferred cloud provider, and the firm will market its Google Cloud-powered solutions to large retailers and merchants in the United States of America.
The Huge Potential Offered By Bakkt
Up until now, Bakkt is already planning to add more analytics capabilities, as well as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and geolocation capacity, as part of its platform development. This is done by extracting deep, location-aware business insights utilising Google Cloud’s industry-leading tools.
As a result, Bakkt consumers will have greater freedom in redeeming their loyalty points. In addition, Bakkt partners will gain significant consumer behaviour patterns, which will be backed by Google Cloud infrastructure.
Bakkt CEO Gavin Michael said that this cooperation demonstrates Bakkt’s strong position in the digital asset marketplace and its ability to allow consumers to enjoy their digital assets in a real-time, secure, and reliable manner.
